Ali Asghar Hejazi is an Iranian cleric and politician, serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Ali Khamenei , the Supreme Leader of Iran . He previously held the position of Deputy for Foreign Affairs in the Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hejazi was a key figure in the Office of the Supreme Leader responsible for communicating orders to suppress peaceful nationwide protests, including the 2009 Green Movement, the December 2017–January 2018 uprisings, and the deadly November 2019 protests.
He has been accused, sanctioned, and targeted internationally for human rights violations, suppression of dissent, and involvement in intelligence and terrorism operations.

حجازی یکی از چهره‌های کلیدی در دفتر رهبری بوده که مسئولیت ابلاغ دستورات برای سرکوب اعتراضات مسالمت‌آمیز سراسری — از جمله جنبش سبز در سال ۱۳۸۸، خیزش‌های دی‌ماه ۱۳۹۶، و اعتراضات خونین آبان ۱۳۹۸ — را بر عهده داشته است.
او به دلیل نقض حقوق بشر، سرکوب مخالفان، و مشارکت در عملیات‌های اطلاعاتی و تروریستی، در سطح بین‌المللی مورد اتهام قرار گرفته، تحریم شده و هدف اقدامات تنبیهی واقع شده است.
