Persian name: آرین عزیزی. Reported gender: male. Reported location: Kerman. Arrested on January 7, 2026 in Kerman along with three friends while returning from a sports club. They encountered street gatherings and stayed for a while. Basij forces directed a group of people present into a dead-end alley and arrested them all. He is being held in Kerman temporary detention center, adjacent to Kerman prison. He has visitation rights twice a week. His case status and judicial determination remain unclear despite family follow-ups. The family has not been allowed to choose a lawyer. Several charges were recently proposed to him and other detainees, with promises of faster court proceedings if they accept one of the charges, which the family has opposed.
